Base pay range: $140,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr. Other compensation types include Annual Bonus. Actual pay will be based on skills and experience. Position Summary

Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, the Construction Quality Management Lead is responsible for the effective implementation and continuous improvement of the project's Quality Management System (QMS). The role goes beyond on-site inspections and focuses on in-depth review of design drawings and specifications, proactive issue prevention, and process improvement through data analysis. As the on-site quality manager, you will coordinate quality-related communications between the client, construction company, and subcontractors. You will implement quality planning, verification activities, regulatory compliance management, and quality improvement initiatives to minimize risks and achieve project objectives. Proficiency in English is required; Korean language skills are a plus. Key Responsibilities

Lead Quality Assurance & Control:

Establish quality management processes aligned with international standards (ISO 9001, ASME, SEMI) and client QMS requirements. Oversee QA/QC activities across Civil/Architecture/Finishing, mechanical, and electrical work per the project QMP and specifications, in accordance with local laws and codes (IBC, NEC, OSHA) and global standards. Drawings & Specification Review:

Conduct in-depth reviews of drawings and specifications to proactively identify potential design and constructability issues. Legal and Regulatory Compliance:

Manage required documentation in accordance with laws, regulations, and client requirements. Inspection Management:

Respond to internal and external quality-related inspections from supervisory teams, authorities, and clients. Proactive Risk Management:

Analyze construction data and field reports to identify potential quality issues early; develop and implement corrective actions to prevent rework and delays. Process Improvement:

Drive continuous process improvement by analyzing workflows, materials, and methods; provide strategic recommendations to enhance efficiency and quality. Field Oversight and Support:

Provide technical guidance to the field QA/QC team, project engineers, and subcontractors; conduct regular site audits and inspections. Subcontractor Management:

Lead meetings with subcontractors and conduct regular quality inspections; evaluate subcontractor quality levels throughout preconstruction, construction, and post-completion. Non-Conformance Management:

Monitor NCRs, manage data, and report on quality performance indicators; ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented and sustained. Stakeholder Collaboration:

Communicate in English with project stakeholders; respond to QA/QC audits and coordinate quality issue resolution. Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain quality records and support documentation for completion, turnover, and KPI reporting. Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Experience:

Minimum of 10 years of progressive QA/QC experience on large-scale construction projects in the US (e.g., semiconductor plants). Experience with a general contractor or as an Owner's Representative is essential. Technical Expertise:

Knowledge of ISO standards for industrial facilities and US construction quality standards and codes (e.g., AISC, ACI, AWS, NEC); familiarity with City inspection processes and regulations. Drawings & Specification Review Experience:

Proven ability to review drawings and specifications per US local standards and practices. Leadership Skills:

Ability to influence and guide project teams and subcontractors to uphold high-quality standards. Communication:

Experience managing multicultural teams and coordinating with global partners. Analytical Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; adept at using data to drive quality improvements. Software Proficiency:

Experience with construction management and QA/QC software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam). Language:

English fluency required; Korean language skills preferred. Preferred Qualifications

Certifications:

ASQ CMQ/OE, PMP, CQCSM (US Army Corps of Engineers), PE preferred; other relevant quality certifications are a plus. Project Experience:

Experience with industrial facilities such as clean rooms in semiconductor, display, or pharmaceutical plants. Seniority level
