Electronic Warfare Engineer/Principal Electronic Warfare Engineer - R10211631 – Northrop Grumman Relocation assistance may be available. Clearance type: Secret. Travel: Yes, 10% of the time. This opportunity is contingent on program funding and start dates are determined after funding confirmation. Responsibilities
Support development and integration of electronic warfare subsystems and components to meet platform mission objectives Requirements development, analysis, maturation and implementation translating customer requirements into hardware and software specifications Perform MBSE and capturing requirements, interfaces, behaviors, structures and parametrics Perform functional and performance analyses Conduct detailed trade studies Collaborate with engineers and program stakeholders Developing and maintaining supplier documentation, performance based specifications, and statements of work Review documents from the supplier’s development effort and support supplier technical interchange meetings and design reviews Perform informal and formal testing of subsystem requirements in lab, troubleshooting hardware in the lab Perform aircraft ground and flight tests on subsystems to validate and verify subsystem requirements and sell-off Qualifications
Electronic Warfare Engineer (T02)
Bachelor’s degree in STEM from an accredited university and 2 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; OR Master’s degree in STEM with 0 years of related experience; or Ph.D. in STEM with 0 years of related experience Ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance, and any program access required for the position within a reasonable period of time Principal Electronic Warfare Engineer (T03)
Bachelor’s degree in STEM from an accredited university and 5 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; OR Master’s degree in STEM with 3 years of related experience; or Ph.D. in STEM with 0 years of related experience Ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance, and any program access required for the position within a reasonable period of time Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of electromagnetics in the RF spectrum (VHF through Ka bands) Knowledge of electronics design and test Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering and SysML tools such as Cameo Experience in performance analysis using MATLAB and Excel or similar tools Additional Information
