Environmental Consulting Project Manager

is responsible for leading and managing environmental projects from inception to completion. This role ensures projects are executed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental regulations, technical expertise in assessments and permitting, and excellent project management skills to drive successful outcomes. Essential Position Responsibilities

Lead environmental consulting projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, and resource allocation. Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, managing priorities and proactively addressing challenges. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including scientists, engineers, and field technicians, to achieve project goals. Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff, fostering professional growth and technical expertise. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining open communication and strong relationships. Prepare and present proposals, progress reports, and final project documentation. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations. Provide technical expertise in environmental site assessments, permitting, remediation, and impact analysis. Monitor project budgets, identify potential cost overruns, and implement corrective actions as needed. Assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes. Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 5+ years in environmental consulting, with at least 2 years in a project management role. Certifications: Professional Management Certification (PMP) or relevant environmental certification (HAZWOPER, LEED, etc.). Preferred Skill Set: Strong project management skills (planning, organization, problem-solving), deep knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency with project management software, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Physical Activities & Safety

Physical activities include typing, reading and verifying data, sitting up to 8 hours per day, and occasional site visits with exposure to construction-site hazards. PPE typically required includes steel-toed boots, gloves, safety vests, and hard hat at site visits. Safety Sensitive: Yes. Travel

Typical travel is 25%. Compensation & Employment Type

Salary: Pensacola, FL range commonly listed as $80,000.00-$100,000.00 depending on experience. Employment Type: Full-time. Job Function
