Overview
Product Development Manager - Intimate Apparel at Dana-co LLC. Dana-co, the luxury lingerie company behind Natori, Skarlett Blue, and Oh Là Là Chéri, seeks a Manager of Product Development to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Product Development and Grading teams. This role reports to the Director of Product Development and contributes to bringing innovative, high-quality products to market on time and on budget. You’ll work closely with Design, Merchandising, Technical Design, and Production to manage development calendars, vendor relationships, sample execution and tracking, and sourcing to ensure product alignment with brand vision, timeline, and margin goals.
What You’ll Do
Support the Director of Product Development in managing the end-to-end process from initial concept and fabric/trim sourcing to sampling and costing.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Technical Design, Merchandising, and Production teams to bring new styles from concept to execution.
Assist with the development timeline calendar to ensure key milestones are consistently met.
Communicate daily with vendors and factories to oversee sampling, costing, lab dips, and testing processes.
Be responsible for development costs through hand-off to Merchandising and Production; negotiate with suppliers to meet margin goals.
Oversee factory allocation for new style development to align with capacity and quality standards.
Review and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) in collaboration with the Design team.
Ensure all products meet the company’s quality standards throughout the development cycle.
Maintain organized, up-to-date development charts and documentation for internal tracking and reporting.
What You Bring
7+ years of relevant experience, including:
3–5 years in product development or sourcing
2–3 years in a management or leadership role with direct reports
Background in intimates, lingerie, or women’s fashion is highly preferred
Strong leadership, organization, and vendor management skills
