Overview The Training Officer serves under the general direction of the Training and Support Services Branch Chief (SSM II, Managerial) and supports the Office of Administrative Services (OAS). The incumbent oversees a unit responsible for the development, delivery and tracking of training; the creation, implementation, and maintenance of training-related policies and procedures; and the procurement of training-related contracts for OAS.
Responsibilities
Oversee a unit responsible for development, delivery, tracking of training, and maintenance of training-related policies and procedures.
Procure training-related contracts for the Office of Administrative Services (OAS).
Contribute to the preparation and execution of training programs and related documentation.
Qualifications and Requirements
Experience developing and delivering presentations to large and small groups.
Ability to describe management style and demonstrate effectiveness of training programs through measures and data.
Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) required; must attach to application. Resumes and cover letters will not be accepted in place of an SOQ.
Special Requirements
SOQ must be no more than two pages, with one-inch margins, in 12-point Arial font. Responses must be numbered and presented in the order as they appear in the job announcement. Artificial Intelligence cannot be used to respond to the SOQ.
