Provide district-wide support as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant; work under the direction of the Director of Special Education and/or Special Education Program Coordinator; serve identified pupils with speech and/or language disabilities; work at various sites under the direction/supervision of speech and language therapists. Qualifications
AA/AS Degree in speech-language pathology assistant program or Bachelor’s degree in a speech-language pathology or communication disorders program required BA Degree in communicative disorders or related field (desired) Successful completion of a minimum of one hundred (100) hours of supervised field work experience or its clinical experience equivalent Registration as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant with/State of California Proficient in sign language (Desired) Experience of one year or more working with children in a classroom setting (Desired) Experience as a speech and language pathology assistant (Desired) and/or experience working in an educational setting Please apply by submitting EdJoin application by the close date.
