Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Litigation Attorney to join our law firm. You will play a key role in leading and expanding our commercial litigation practice, handling high-stakes cases, and providing strategic guidance to clients.

Duties/Responsibilities

Lead and manage commercial litigation cases from inception through trial or resolution, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.

Provide expert legal advice to clients across various industries in complex commercial disputes, such as breach of contract, business torts, shareholder disputes, and fraud claims.

Handle all aspects of litigation including depositions, mediations, arbitration, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in federal and state courts.

Develop and maintain client relationships by acting as a trusted advisor and offering business-minded legal solutions to address their litigation needs.

Collaborate with other practice groups within the firm, including employment, corporate, real estate, and estate planning administration, to provide integrated services for clients with multifaceted legal issues.

Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and legal staff, providing guidance on litigation strategy, case management, and professional development.

Drive business development efforts by expanding existing client base, identifying new market opportunities, and participating in firm marketing initiatives.

Contribute to the firm's leadership and strategy by participating in management decisions, practice development, and principal meetings.

Required Skills/Abilities

Licensed to practice law in Ohio.

At least 7+ years of experience in commercial litigation with a proven track record of success.

Extensive trial and courtroom experience in federal and state courts.

Exceptional negotiation and advocacy skills, with a strategic approach to litigation and dispute resolution.

Strong business acumen with the ability to understand client needs and offer practical solutions.

Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship management skills.

Strong networking and business development skills with a proven ability to attract and retain clients.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
