Overview Purpose: Uses scientific education to perform laboratory testing within a good manufacturing practices environment to generate results and interpret data to determine conformance. Partners with the team to implement new technologies or processes and independently prioritizes work to meet objectives.
Responsibilities
Implements, maintains, and makes changes to create global solutions for a safe work environment and good manufacturing practices in accordance with procedural requirements.
Maintains training certifications as needed for assigned tasks and expands training to meet broader team objectives.
Performs analytical or microbial test methods as written and verifies laboratory results to support product and material release.
Troubleshoots and resolves analytical techniques and instrument issues; understands laboratory techniques and principles.
Implements and ensures completion of improvement ideas; may lead a smaller group on a broader team’s objectives.
Works in multiple laboratory functional areas as assigned and performs a variety of techniques with minimal error, adapting to technical or logistical obstacles.
Manages time effectively and participates in team activities and decision-making.
Identifies and resolves obstacles to technical or process issues; consistently meets commitments.
Assumes responsibility for assigned tasks and proactively takes on new tasks outside the area of responsibility.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 4 years of laboratory experience; Associate’s Degree with at least 6 years of laboratory experience; High School Diploma with at least 9 years of directly related lab experience.
Ability to work with general supervision while effectively managing time to multi-task based on training.
Participates and contributes to assigned teams to meet broader business objectives.
Compensation Base pay range:
$26.10/hr - $47.10/hr
