This position is responsible for the repair, maintenance, calibration, and technical support of diagnostic imaging equipment. The
Biomedical Imaging Engineer
ensures equipment uptime, regulatory compliance, and supports clinical departments in delivering safe and effective patient care. Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on imaging systems including: CT : Philips Brilliance 64, Brilliance Big Bore Cath Lab : Philips Allura Xper Provide high-level technical support and training to clinical departments. Maintain service documentation and ensure compliance with Joint Commission, FDA, and internal policies. Coordinate with vendors and OEMs for escalated service and upgrades. Participate in equipment installations, evaluations, and lifecycle planning. Qualifications
Associate’s Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics Technology, or equivalent military/technical training. 3–8 years of experience repairing and maintaining imaging modalities (depending on level). Philips OEM certification. CBET certification is desirable. Strong troubleshooting skills and understanding of imaging workflows. Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Preferred Experience
Experience with PACS/RIS integration and DICOM standards. Familiarity with hospital safety protocols and regulatory standards. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Seniority level
