As a Senior Vulnerability Analyst, you will work with a well-developed team of professionals to help ensure the security and resilience of critical IT systems and infrastructure across complex enterprise environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
Leading vulnerability assessments across networks, databases, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications to identify security gaps and compliance risks.
Designing, coordinating, and overseeing large-scale scanning operations, including policy selection, target validation, and execution monitoring.
Analyzing scan results to prioritize vulnerabilities by risk severity, exploitability, and business impact, and providing actionable remediation guidance.
Developing and refining vulnerability management processes, reporting templates, and metrics to improve program effectiveness and situational awareness.
Producing comprehensive technical reports and briefings for both technical teams and leadership, translating complex findings into strategic insights.
Mentoring junior analysts, leading cross-functional initiatives, and contributing to the implementation of security controls and countermeasures.
Staying current with emerging threats, adversary tactics, and zero-day vulnerabilities to proactively strengthen organizational defenses.
Managing and maintaining scanning tools, virtual environments, and backend systems across Windows, Unix, and Linux platforms.

What You Know
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar. 8 years additional experience can work in lieu of a degree.
5+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on vulnerability management or penetration testing.
Deep understanding of vulnerability management lifecycle, risk assessment frameworks, and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, DISA STIGs, CIS).
Expertise with scanning tools such as Tenable SecurityCenter, Nessus, NMAP, and other industry-standard platforms.
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and automation to enhance scanning and reporting efficiency.
What You Have To Have
Hands-on experience with Windows, Unix, Linux, cloud environments (AWS, Azure), and major database systems.
Leadership or project lead experience in security operations or risk mitigation initiatives.
Experience supporting federal, defense, or highly regulated environments (preferred).
Must be a US Citizen, with the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.
Some travel may be required.
