Overview
Senior Manager, YouTube Paid Media at Launch Potato. Drive growth and profitability for YouTube performance marketing within Launch Potato’s portfolio, with potential to expand to other video platforms over time. Responsibilities
You’ll take full ownership of Launch Potato’s YouTube business, combining hands-on campaign management with high-level strategy. Own campaign execution, P&L, growth targets, testing new creatives, and developing playbooks. Collaborate with the creative team on video production and advocate for campaign needs to drive success. Expand YouTube campaigns into new verticals and drive incremental revenue. Build and lead a video-first performance marketing and paid media team as investment scales. Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to build new audiences targeting high-value customers. Outcomes (Performance Expectations)
Take full ownership of campaign performance, pacing, reporting, operations, setup, and P&L for YouTube campaigns. Deliver consistent growth in spend and profitability, aiming for at least 2x annualized run rate with a minimum 110% ROAS in year one. Provide actionable insights and recommendations backed by data, reporting, and analysis. Improve CTR, CVR, ROAS, and margin through ongoing creative testing and iteration. Share best practices across the Paid Media team to strengthen YouTube performance in other verticals. Lead and develop a high-performing video-first team to support scalable investment. Qualifications
MUST HAVE Proven success scaling new and existing brands on YouTube, profitably. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in BI tools (Looker, Google Analytics) and advanced Excel/Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, regression analysis). Understanding of best practices for high-performing creatives (YouTube ABCDs, briefs) and collaboration with video production teams. Experience owning P&L and hitting aggressive growth and profitability goals; ability to build playbooks. Exceptional collaboration and proactive communication; able to present insights and influence decisions across teams. EXPERIENCE 6+ years managing and scaling a YouTube performance portfolio with budgets of $20M+/year. COMPETENCIES Technical Mastery: Google/YouTube Ads and analytics platforms (Looker). P&L Ownership: Budget management at scale with growth and margin goals. Communication: Clear verbal and written communication for leadership alignment. Problem-Solving, Adaptability, Leadership Potential, Growth Focus, Operational Efficiency. NICE TO HAVES Experience with linear TV, streaming, or other video platforms (Meta, TikTok). Experience with MMM tools and measurement solutions. Familiarity with AI tools for workflows; knowledge of personal finance products. Mentoring peers or leading knowledge-sharing initiatives; familiarity with competitive analysis tools. Compensation & Benefits
BASE SALARY: $80,000 to $110,000 per year. Total compensation includes base salary, profit-sharing bonus, and benefits. Launch Potato is performance-driven; future increases are based on company and personal performance. Equal Opportunity
