Job Summary
A Senior Contracts Manager is needed for one of the world's largest suppliers of aerospace and defense products in the Everett, WA area. A strategic Supply Chain Contracts professional responsible for the end-to-end administration, drafting, negotiation, and risk evaluation of a complex portfolio of supplier contracts, ensuring compliance and achieving favorable business terms.
Responsibilities
Provides daily guidance to stakeholders for allocated projects.
Drafts, generates, negotiates, interprets, and manages complex contract documents for allocated suppliers.
Ensures contract documents properly reflect business objectives and meet internal/external schedules.
Performs analysis and prepares reports to ensure allocated contracts are within negotiated parameters.
Negotiates allocated supplier contracts to achieve favorable business terms.
Reviews contractual terms and conditions for acceptability, assessing risk and impact.
Uses legal resources and subject matter experts to recognize and address risks with unique contract terms.
Briefs management and other functional areas on contract status, risk mitigation, and contingency plans.
Tracks and reports key functional metrics.
Represents the organization on legal issues for allocated contracts.
Maintains historical legal records.
Education And Experience
Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of experience or
Advanced Degree and 7-10 years of relevant experience or
In the absence of a degree, 13 years of experience is Required.
