The Telecommunication Engineer may work on several concurrent projects and will be considered the technical expert on a specialized design. This role involves the design of systems for building projects including security, fire alarm, voice, data, audio/visual, and other low voltage systems. Responsibilities include preparation of engineering drawings and specifications, site visits, review of technical documents, occasional customer contact and integration of Owner-specific installation requirements with site applications. Responsibilities

Prepare engineering drawings and specifications, conduct site visits, review technical documents, coordinate with customers and vendors, and integrate installation requirements with site applications. Learn from more senior team members and work with the team across the design process from preliminary assessments to drawings and specifications. Qualifications

Technical or Associates Degree from an accredited institution 4+ years of experience actively designing low voltage and communication systems for buildings Familiarity and demonstrated knowledge of ANSI/TIA and BICSI standards Experience with Revit software Self-motivation to coordinate with other disciplines and clients as necessary Preferred

Credentials as an RCDD or working toward this title Electrical Engineering degree, or related discipline Benefits and other information
