is looking for an
Executive Chef
to lead the culinary team. Manage Cafe Pronto, Lounge 72, Windows Cafe, and 32,000 square feet of event space. The role is hands-on in the operation, overseeing culinary operations and managing a team of 8-10. You will report directly to the Director of Operations.
The ideal candidate will be an engaging and creative leader who is committed to delivering excellence, passionate about developing others, and thrives in a positive, high-energy environment. At least 1 year of experience in an Executive Sous Chef or Banquet Chef position and a background in catering / banquets is required. Union experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
Direct and oversee all culinary operations, including production of hotel meals, food quality and presentation, compliance with safety and sanitation standards, team productivity and performance, policy implementation, cost controls, and overall profitability.
Create and implement new menus and menu items for outlets based on current food trends and regional tastes in partnership with the Director of Food and Beverage.
Interact with guests and clients to monitor satisfaction trends, evaluate issues, and make improvements accordingly.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
Perform general management duties including systems management, budgeting and forecasting, report generation, department management, and meeting participation and facilitation.
Monitor and develop team member performance, including supervision, professional development, scheduling, coaching, evaluations, and recognition.
Recruit, interview, and train team members.

Salary Range: The annual salary range for this role is $90,000 - $100,000, based on experience and location.
