Senior Recruitment Consultant- Mechanical & Project Engineering at DSJ Global. A Corporate Project Engineer is needed to join a multi-site Corporate Engineering Team with members based in Texas, Ohio, Iowa and Arizona. This role involves managing and supporting the installation and integration of processing and packaging equipment, overseeing contractors during installation, startup, and commissioning. The position emphasizes project management, optimization, and continuous improvement, and serves as a technical resource across multiple production facilities. Base pay range
$130,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Manage capital projects from conceptual design through startup. Develop cost estimates, specifications, and P&ID reviews; manage project timelines. Direct contractors and OEM technicians during field installations. Oversee installation, I/O checkout, startup, and plant acceptance. Design and specify OEM equipment, automation panels, and hardware. Support PLC ladder logic programming and HMI applications. Mentor engineers, maintenance, and operations personnel. Collaborate with the Corporate Controls and Automation group on automation and network integration. Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or related field preferred (experience may substitute). Minimum 5 years of project management experience. Experience with installation and startup of process/packaging equipment preferred. Proficiency with Rockwell Automation and Control Logix 5000. Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs required. Familiarity with Wonderware, Archestra System Platform, and/or MES preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, MS Project). Seniority level
