Overview

We are looking for a Senior Data Warehouse Developer with deep expertise in the Microsoft Data Platform, including SSIS, SSRS, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks. This role will design, build, and maintain scalable data warehouse solutions to enable advanced analytics, reporting, and business intelligence across the organization. You\'ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, performance, and security within our On-Prem and Azure-based data ecosystem. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data warehouse solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics and SQL Server. Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Azure Data Factory to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources. Design and implement data models (star/snowflake schemas, fact/dimension tables) optimized for analytics and reporting. Leverage Azure Databricks for data transformation, cleansing, and advanced data engineering workloads. Optimize performance of queries, ETL jobs, and data models to ensure efficiency and scalability. Ensure data quality, governance, and security by applying best practices in data validation, auditing, and lineage tracking. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Automate workflows and deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, and scripting. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Tableau. Stay current with Azure data services, tools, and best practices to continuously enhance the data platform. Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 5+ years of experience in data warehouse development within the Microsoft BI stack. Strong proficiency in SQL (T-SQL) and performance tuning. Hands-on experience with SSIS for ETL development and SSRS for reporting. Expertise with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Azure SQL Database. Experience with Azure Databricks for data transformation and integration with Synapse. Strong understanding of data modeling, dimensional design, and metadata management. Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline management. Familiarity with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and Delta Lake. Understanding of Agile development methodologies. Plus: Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate) are a plus. Knowledge of data governance and security best practices in Azure environments. Soft Skills
