Cloud Architecture team collaborates across TCGplayer and eBay to ensure systems and technologies seamlessly work together. As a Cloud Architect, you will design, implement, and optimize solutions in our AWS environment, and act as a trusted advisor with product and engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions that enable innovation and operational efficiency. By leveraging expertise in AWS and systems architecture, you will help bridge product vision and engineering execution, driving technical excellence and successful delivery of cloud-based solutions. Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud architectures using AWS Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align cloud strategies with business goals Develop and enforce best practices for systems architecture, deployment, and operations in the cloud Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering teams on cloud-native technologies and architectural patterns Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and processes to enhance cloud infrastructure and workflows Ensure reliability, availability, and security of cloud environments through monitoring and incident management Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency while maintaining performance and scalability Serve as a technical liaison between product managers and engineering teams to ensure seamless communication and execution What You Will Bring
A relevant bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience, or a relevant master’s with 6 years, or 12 years of practical experience Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role, with a preferred focus on AWS Expertise in systems architecture for scalable and resilient cloud solutions Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies (containers such as Docker and Kubernetes) and serverless architectures; hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC design Comfortable with Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and IaC The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below: $115,200 - $199,700. Base pay offered may vary depending on location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may include a bonus and RSUs, in addition to a full range of benefits. Details will be provided if an offer is extended. If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position.” The Company reserves the right to modify base salary and other compensation programs at any time, including for performance or market factors.
