SAP PM Functional Consultant – Fashion Industry (ECC) Location: Greensboro, NC (Onsite/Hybrid) Employment Type: Contract Experience Level: 8+ years Responsibilities
Lead and deliver SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) solutions within the ECC environment. Partner with business users in the fashion industry to gather and translate requirements into functional specifications. Configure PM master data, maintenance plans, notifications, orders, and work scheduling. Ensure seamless integration with SAP MM, PP, and QM modules for manufacturing and supply chain operations. Support maintenance planning, asset management, and equipment lifecycle management processes. Work with technical teams for custom developments, enhancements, and interface integration. Develop and maintain system documentation, configuration guides, and training materials. Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing. Provide post-implementation support and continuous process improvement recommendations. Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders to align solutions with enterprise architecture standards. Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. 8+ years of SAP PM functional experience, with at least 2 full-cycle ECC implementations. Strong expertise in maintenance planning, preventive maintenance, work orders, notifications, and equipment hierarchy. In-depth knowledge of integration points with MM, PP, QM, and FI modules. Experience in the Fashion or Retail manufacturing industry preferred. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to lead workshops, design sessions, and solution walkthroughs. Preferred Skills
Exposure to SAP AIN, EAM, or S/4HANA PM migration is a plus. Experience with interfaces (IDoc, BAPI, RFC) and data migration. Working knowledge of SAP Solution Manager and ASAP/Agile methodology. Familiarity with fashion production processes such as textile manufacturing, quality inspection, or plant operations. About Ampstek
