Dallas, TX. This position requires a qualified, hands-on, service-oriented technician involved with automatic transfer switch startups, modifications, warranty and emergency calls. The applicant should show a desire to learn and advance to the Field Service Engineer level. Responsibilities

Carry a cell phone and be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Focus on work related to automatic transfer switches. Provide technical support for field startups (standard and non-standard systems), warranty efforts, remedial repairs, and preventative maintenance contracts. Supervise and ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, guidelines and laws. Communicate with clients in a highly customer-service oriented manner and potentially expand project scope or negotiate extra charges for work performed. Ensure all work and decisions are in strict compliance with applicable regulatory laws. Travel requirements: Up to 80% travel. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma / GED 3+ years experience in: Field Service Engineering Electrical power including low to medium voltage switchgear for critical facilities (e.g., data centers, airports) Experience with automatic transfer switch testing Reading schematics and blueprints for power control, automation, and customer technical support Familiarity with applicable codes and industry standards Strong client interaction skills and ability to complete projects on time and within budget Strong project management skills with decision making, organization, and management capabilities Self-directed and focused on customer satisfaction Valid Driver's license in good standing Authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future Preferred Qualifications

Associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering Excellent customer service, time management and follow-up skills Power distribution, DC/AC, Voltage Circuit Theory and practical troubleshooting skills You’ll benefit from
