The
Maintenance Supervisor
is responsible for overseeing the maintenance department at Iron Bull Distillery. Lead, support, and contribute to day-to-day maintenance activities in bottling, processing, facility, grounds and special projects. Provide electrical and PLC programming support to the plant, as needed. Work with the Plant Engineer and Reliability Manager to organize workload for Line Mechanics, focusing on safety, quality of work and productivity. Support the overall facility safety program through project management, maintenance planning and problem identification. Ensure safety is engineered into every project and issues are addressed via the maintenance work order system. Review safety work orders and prioritize work assignments and completion. Support the development of detailed PMs for Bottling/Plant operations and track completion compliance. Manage parts stock levels by equipment type and coordinate with vendors to verify on-site availability for projects. Provide leadership that supports self-directed work teams and productive employee relations. Identify skill development needs with the manager; create and execute development plans for at least one skill area per year. Ensure direct reports receive constructive feedback and have development plans to improve at least one competency annually. Lead in a manner consistent with the plant and company culture; foster a fair, respectful team environment; contribute to efforts addressing climate issues and making the Company a Best Place To Work. Manage vendor-managed inventory costs while maintaining quality and minimizing downtime. Qualifications / Requirements
MUST
Apprenticeship program, technical school, or associate’s degree 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment 2+ years of experience leading a team Ability to quickly learn new systems/processes Strong planning and organizational skills Excellent oral & written communication skills Strong analytical and technical skills Demonstrate the ability to work as a team as well as self-directed PREFERRED
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field Familiar with beverage processing and its associated equipment Hands-on electrical experience, Allen-Bradley PLC programming and hardware experience, equipment troubleshooting Compensation
