Position Overview: Responsible for implementing, training, and auditing all project controls functions on large construction projects. This role works with the Project Management and Regional Operations teams to ensure the project is delivered on time and on budget. Primary responsibility is to support the Project Manager regarding client facing and internal reporting. Project Controls activities include project kickoff, tracking, productivity monitoring, updating P6 manpower and cost loaded schedules, contract management, change order control, project billing, forecasting, and closeout. Responsibilities

Interact with the Project Management team and corporate management; participate in regular project meetings. Gather information and prepare reports and presentations as needed for the project. Identify and communicate design changes, scope changes, schedule slippages and potential impacts; participate in identifying mitigations. Ensure cost and schedule trends are identified, manage change control, and communicate and suggest corrective actions. Coordinate with cross-functional teams in project settings; ensure project controls team members interface with engineering, procurement, contracts and construction on concepts and relationships to the scope of work and adherence to safety and quality standards. Oversee the project baseline process for cost, schedule, and progress; ensure all project systems are implemented according to process and company standards and procedures. Ensure full implementation of company processes and procedures, and industry best practices for project controls on the project following the company process. Establish risk management protocol including identification, documentation, mitigation and tracking of potential risks; determine potential cost and schedule impacts as risks are identified. Ensure the accuracy of reported progress percentage based on established rules of credit; develop progress measurement processes for required scopes of work. Establish and manage project schedule development, review, and update processes; ensure accuracy and alignment with the master schedule. Manage and ensure all project reporting is prepared and submitted per the approved reporting schedule for the project. Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of project controls experience in construction of commercial/industrial projects. Electrical experience preferred. Experience with HCSS HeavyJob or similar job costing program. Experience with P6 or similar scheduling software. Experience with Viewpoint or similar accounting software. Experience with HeavyBid or similar estimating software. Proficient with all Microsoft Office products. Driver’s license with a clean driving record and maintenance of such driving record. Hazards
