We have a great opportunity for an Event Manager! We’re looking for a strategically creative thinker—the definition of a team player—who possesses creative problem-solving ability, is detail-oriented, and is innovative to provide elevated and meaningful engagements that create and maintain strong connections with stakeholders and internal teams within the FOX Family. Someone who can manage a budget, has experience managing stakeholders, and can work cross-functionally. Responsibilities

Be “in the know” on the hottest industry trends by supporting event strategy development across events and activation through research and ideation. Manage event playbook, creating workback schedules, DACI, invoice tracking, and budget reporting. Manage rooming lists and travel manifests with little to no oversight. Manage the budget reporting process that includes event recaps, billing, and debriefs to all relevant teams and stakeholders. Create manageable goals that are project, department, and individually specific. Plan, coordinate, and manage successful, on-budget small to mid-size in-person and virtual experiences, corporate meetings, presentations, hospitality and executive engagement programs, and other as-needed engagements. Communicate clearly and collaborate closely with FED Technology and Design teams, with a basic understanding of technical event needs, graphic specs, and production, to ensure everyone is clear on the overall event scope, planning needs, and strategic goals. Provide support and guidance as needed throughout the planning process. Negotiate vendor agreements; manage all event logistics, including food and beverage, rentals, layouts, rooming lists, and parking. Establish marketing metrics to inform stakeholders on best practices and deliver reporting. Develop and nurture external industry connections and relationships that benefit FOX's experiential initiatives. Support in the development of external partnerships and event sponsorships. Support senior business leads on larger-scale events, meetings, and hospitality programs, both domestic and international, as needed. Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on and supervisory experience in corporate events or with a large agency. Experience in the media and the entertainment industry specifically at a network or studio. Experience working on B2B events. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Knowledge of restaurants and venues, with positive relationships with relevant vendors. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Google Suite, Monday.com, basic database applications, internet searches, AI tools, and prompt execution. Ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, and ever-changing environment, and to make quick reflex decisions under pressure with grace. Ability to communicate deliverable ideas clearly and succinctly. Ability to work overtime, over many days during a project, without skipping a beat and staying sharp. Ability to work in the office a minimum of 4 days per week, when not onsite or traveling. Ability to travel approximately 20%. Willingness to get hands dirty with packing, unpacking, and lifting boxes, setting up a production office, and standing on feet for more than 4 hours at a time while on-site at events. Nice to Have (Not a Dealbreaker)
