Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager specializing in healthcare facilities to join our team as an extension of our client’s Facilities Management department. This role will focus on managing small capital projects across multiple healthcare sites throughout Cook County, ensuring seamless execution while maintaining operational continuity in these critical environments. Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple small to medium‑size capital improvement projects simultaneously across various healthcare facilities. Serve as the primary point of contact between contractors, vendors, facility staff, and healthcare stakeholders. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations. Coordinate with clinical departments to minimize disruptions to patient care during construction activities. Ensure all projects comply with healthcare‑specific regulations (ICRA, ILSM, TJC, IDPH). Prepare and present regular project status updates to key stakeholders. Manage the bidding process, contractor selection, and contract administration. Conduct site inspections to verify quality and compliance with project specifications. Process invoices and manage financial aspects of assigned projects. Document project changes and maintain accurate project records. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. 5+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years specifically in healthcare environments. Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements and facility operations. Experience managing projects in occupied healthcare settings. Proficient with project management software and Microsoft Office suite. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to read and interpret construction documents and technical specifications. Required Skills
Expert knowledge of healthcare construction protocols (ICRA, ILSM). Strong technical knowledge of building systems common in healthcare facilities. Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple concurrent projects. Problem‑solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions in dynamic environments. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Working Conditions
Work will be performed at various healthcare facilities throughout Cook County. Some evening and weekend work may be required to accommodate healthcare operations. Travel between multiple client sites required (must have reliable transportation). Must be comfortable working in active healthcare environments. Benefits

Estimated compensation for this position: 90,000.00 – 115,000.00 USD per year This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ.
