Position Summary This position contributes to the design and delivery of research projects and collaborates with researchers to develop, execute, and interpret research projects, including patient eligibility screening and recruitment and complex data collection methods for clinical trials and cohort studies.
Duties & Responsibilities
Implement a lifestyle/weight loss intervention for obese adults aged 50‑80 via synchronous remote and in‑person interactions.
Recruit study participants.
Conduct informed consent.
Track individual dietary and exercise changes for those research participants.
Perform all screening interviews, observations and entry/collection/verification of accuracy/cleaning/management in compliance with the BRIDGE & Friends research project and IRB regulations.
Maintain written records of participant progress.
Communicate progress, successes and issues with intervention in a timely fashion to study leadership, inkling the study manager and the PI's.
Maintain compliance with IRB regulations and the study protocol.
Assist in conceptualizing, developing, revising, and maintaining databases and study records.
Oversee and coordinate the implementation of lifestyle interventions including ordering supplies and reviewing content to assess dose consistency across arms.
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in social science or related field required. Master's degree in social science preferred.
A minimum of 3 years related research experience.
Possesses and applies advanced knowledge of research principles, concepts, practices and methods.
Preferred Qualifications A minimum of 1 year of community‑based health education.
