Google UX is made up of multi-disciplinary teams of UX Designers, Researchers, Writers, Content Strategists, Program Managers, and Engineers. We care deeply about the people who use our products and collaborate with engineering and product management to create industry-leading products that deliver value for users and Google’s businesses.
Responsibilities
Define the user-centered design ideas for Google TV features, integrating AI capabilities to create more personalized and helpful home entertainment experiences.
Translate product goals, user insights, and technical constraints (including AI/ML limitations) into design solutions specifically tailored for the 10-foot TV experience.
Own the design process from initial concept exploration to final specifications and launch, creating visual designs, interaction flows, and prototypes.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners (e.g., Engineering, Product Management, Research, AI/ML specialists) to deliver cohesive, high-quality user experiences powered by intelligent systems.
Advocate for innovative, AI-driven solutions to improve user engagement and content discovery, contributing to the overall design strategy for understandable, trustworthy, and user-centric AI features.
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).
Preferred qualifications
Experience in the Media and Entertainment industry.
Experience in developing and maintaining design systems.
Experience designing for large screens, accessibility standards, and the Android ecosystem.
Include a portfolio showcasing work on consumer-facing products, including TV interfaces or Android applications.

Google User Experience (UX) is made up of multi-disciplinary teams. The UX team gathers insights about attitudes, emotions, and behaviors to inspire and inform design. We collaborate with engineering and product management to create industry-leading products that deliver value for users and Google’s businesses. As an Interaction Designer, you’ll rely on user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences—from concept to execution—and leverage the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative, and user-loving products. In this role, you will use AI to create personalized, intuitive interfaces, translating user insights into designs from concept to launch. You will own processes, advocate for user needs, and deliver solutions.
Salary and benefits: The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$185,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, pay is determined by location, skills, experience, and education. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location.
