Senior Product Developer - Ninja Indoor Heated

The Product Development organization drives our global product roadmap from concept to shelf with a consumer-centric approach. We work cross-functionally to deliver a 5-star experience for every customer on every product.
Responsibilities
Support the Ninja Indoor Heated business onsite in Needham, MA with the development of successful and profitable programs for key products. Lead new product development (creation and management) of assigned product(s) from brainstorm through mass production, and partner with leadership to define category direction for a team of product developers. You are responsible and accountable for progressing, reporting on, and actioning your team’s deliverables.
Define, develop, and iterate product specifications, balancing consumer wants/needs, market white space, and product technologies as the primary consumer advocate.
Take ownership of assigned categories’ sales performance—identify what’s working or not and recommend new product opportunities to fill gaps.
Lead competitive product analyses to inform business partners and identify areas for improvement to maintain Shark as a top consumer choice.
Share insights from consumers and the market to ensure critical features and feedback are incorporated into next-generation products.
Partner with SharkNinja Testing and Quality to define, develop, and manage quality and performance testing procedures.
Qualifications
4-5+ years of experience in product development, product marketing, marketing, human factors engineering, or a related field, preferably at a consumer goods company.
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Marketing, Management, Engineering, or related fields.
A 100% on consumer-first perspective when introducing new products or improving current ones.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across multi-functional teams.
Highly effective written and verbal communication skills; able to present to all levels of management and host succinct, problem-solving conversations.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environment; ability to embrace transparency and shifting priorities while focusing on the path forward.
