Associate Veterinarian - DVM at Mission Pet Health. Location: Portland, Oregon. Full-time position at Bethany Family Pet Clinic, 15166 NW Central Drive, Portland, OR 97229. The practice is AAHA accredited (since 1999), Fear Free Certified, and AAFP Cat-Friendly. There are no on-call responsibilities as there are several referral/emergency locations nearby. Bethany Family Pet Clinic is a full-service companion animal practice offering gold-standard medical and surgical care. The state-of-the-art facility was designed by Architecture Werks. Our nine exam rooms use AVImark EMR; diagnostics include in-house IDEXX and Zoetis units, send-out Antech, digital radiography, two dental suites with digital radiography, two ultrasound machines, Storz endoscopy, video Otoscopy, and Tonopen. Some doctors have advanced ultrasound training; one uses endoscopy for foreign body retrieval and intestinal biopsies. We also have acupuncture-certified doctors for multi-modal care and collaborate with traveling internists and cardiologists weekly. Responsibilities
Provide medical and surgical care for a large caseload of routine and advanced cases in a collaborative team environment. Utilize diagnostic tools and therapies available at the clinic (IDEXX, Zoetis, digital radiography, ultrasound, dental radiography, endoscopy, Tonopen, etc.). Participate in multi-modal care and ongoing mentorship and professional development programs. Support a positive work environment with a strong team of 8 CVTs, tech assistants, and doctor’s assistants. Ideal Qualifications
All experience levels considered, but currently full on 2024 new grads. Oregon Veterinary License – active and in good standing. Excellent communication and clinical skills. Teamwork mentality. Committed to compassionate, exceptional veterinary care. Benefits Offered
