Overview Flexjet and its portfolio of brands are seeking a seasoned Senior Video Editor to elevate the company’s global short and long form storytelling through video, film, and multimedia content. The role crafts the cinematic language of the brand, shaping raw footage, creative briefs, and strategic direction into polished, emotionally resonant pieces. The Senior Video Editor works with the Multimedia Director, Creative Director, and VP, Creative Services to ensure deliverables—from brand spots and docuseries to social edits and advertising placements—reflect Flexjet’s bespoke positioning and engage audiences with clarity, imagination and impact.

The ideal candidate combines storytelling with technical expertise in color grading, sound design, motion graphics integration, and multi-platform export standards. This role sets the bar for editorial excellence, may direct other editors or freelancers, and works cross-functionally with the broader Creative Services group.

Responsibilities

Edit short-form and long-form content across a range of formats, including brand films, social media spots, event highlight reels, digital ads, and internal communications.

Interpret creative briefs and translate concepts into visually compelling and emotionally engaging narratives.

Maintain brand consistency in tone, pacing, and aesthetic across all outputs.

Execute advanced editorial techniques such as sound design, color correction, motion graphics integration, and visual effects, and guide onboarding of specialists in these areas as needed.

Prepare multiple deliverables optimized for web, broadcast, event displays, and social platforms.

Project Management & Workflow Ownership: Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining editorial excellence; oversee post-production workflows, file management, proxy editing, and delivery pipelines; establish and uphold technical standards for exports, storage, and archiving; collaborate with the Multimedia Director to scope editing timelines and resource needs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with external and internal Producers, Directors, and Designers to align edits with broader creative intent and campaign objectives; work with Social Media and Digital teams to adapt video content for platform requirements; collaborate with Events and Content teams on highlight reels and documentary-style storytelling; liaise with external production vendors and freelance editors when needed, providing oversight and creative direction.

Leadership & Mentorship: Provide guidance to internal editors, freelance talent, or motion graphics collaborators; promote editorial best practices within the team and across Creative Services; foster constructive critique and skill development.

Innovation & Industry Awareness: Stay current with editing software, plugins, and emerging post-production technologies; explore and implement innovative techniques to enhance storytelling; monitor competitor brands to identify differentiation opportunities in luxury video production.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Film + Video Production, Multimedia, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).

6-8+ years of professional video editing experience, ideally within luxury, lifestyle, travel, fashion, or related aesthetics.

Proven portfolio demonstrating editorial storytelling across formats (brand films, commercials, social content, digital, product promotions, etc.).

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and related editing/production software.

Strong technical knowledge of codecs, color workflows, audio mixing, and delivery specifications.

Ability to manage multiple deadlines with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work collaboratively with directors, producers, and creative leads while supporting editorial decisions.

Refined sense of pacing, sound, and visual storytelling appropriate for luxury brand audiences.

Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable reviewing edits with executives and stakeholders.

Support for internal and external productions shoots (as needed) and willingness to travel.
