Partnering closely with senior finance executives, this highly strategic role will drive excellence in financial management, compliance, and reporting, while shaping the financial foundation of a fast-paced, high-growth organization. This is a hybrid role based in Connecticut.
About the Group Controller role
Key responsibilities:
Oversee global accounting operations, including month-end close, financial consolidation, and reporting under US GAAP.
Manage preparation of internal and external financial statements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across multiple entities.
Coordinate annual audits, statutory reporting, and collaboration with external auditors.
Partner with FP&A, Tax, and Treasury teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Maintain and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and process documentation.
Lead system improvements, ERP optimization, and process standardization across regions.
Provide strategic insights through variance analysis, KPIs, and management reporting.
Key requirements:
CPA and a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
15+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with leadership in a global or multi-entity environment.
Expertise in US GAAP, financial consolidation, and audit coordination.
Strong technical systems skills and a track record of driving process improvements.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the business.
