Job Overview
As a Network Engineer, you will develop and manage our network infrastructure to support business operations. This includes configuring devices, ensuring security, and optimizing performance.
Responsibilities
Install routers, switches, and wireless APs.
Manage the Network Access Control solution (802.1x authentication).
Maintain day‑to‑day network infrastructure: routers, switches, MPLS, SD‑WAN, wireless, and monitoring tools.
Perform troubleshooting analysis for network‑related issues.
Follow change control procedures for effective risk mitigation.
Apply in-depth knowledge of networking design and protocols.
Utilize strong analytical abilities.
Provide support to the IT Helpdesk and internal clients as needed.
Additional Duties Provide support to manager and department colleagues; complete all assigned bank training on time.
Qualifications
Certifications: CCNA or CCNP.
Networking skills: switches, routers, servers, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VoIP, QoS, OSPF, BGP.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (experience may substitute).
Experience Level: Intermediate.
Travel: Limited travel within the Tallahassee area for on‑site support.
Preferred Skills Cisco routers & switches, troubleshooting, network engineering, firewall, Meraki, Cisco ISE.
Compensation Pay Range:
$50.00–$60.00 per hour.
