Test and Evaluation
organization. This role is located in
Melbourne, FL . As a Cyber Systems Engineer, you will be part of a team encompassing the full product lifecycle of a software development and test environment using your knowledge of operating system administration, web app design, and security monitoring tools. Key Responsibilities
Maintain availability of instrumentation data network and instrumentation data center. Collect and report system data metrics. Ensure systems adhere to program configuration and data management plans. Provide software maintenance and install software upgrades and patches. Maintain active licenses, maintenance contracts and warranties.
Basic Qualifications

level based on qualifications below. Cyber Systems Engineer (Level 2)
Bachelor\'s Degree in a STEM discipline and 2 years of related professional/military experience; OR a Master\'s Degree in a STEM discipline and 0 years of related professional/military experience. Active DoD Secret or higher clearance with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation. Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance prior to employment. Flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends; on-call status. Current DoD 8570 Level 2 Certification (e.g., Security+ CE or equivalent). Experience managing operating systems, e.g., Windows Server and/or desktop environments. Principal Cyber Systems Engineer (Level 3)
Bachelor\'s Degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related professional/military experience; OR a Master\'s Degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of related professional/military experience; OR a Ph.D. in a STEM discipline and 1 year of related professional/military experience. Active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation). Ability to obtain and maintain SAP clearance prior to employment. Flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends; on-call status. Current DoD 8570 Level 2 Certification (e.g., Security+ CE or equivalent). Experience managing operating systems, e.g., Windows Server and/or desktop environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience implementing access controls and using monitoring tools to detect and respond to security incidents. Proficiency in administering web applications with focus on performance issues. Experience with DevOps processes and cloud infrastructure. Experience with Splunk, Nessus, and/or SolarWinds. Experience with Atlassian, Jira, Coverity, and Fortify. Active Top Secret Clearance. Systems administration experience including VMware, vSphere, VDI, and ESX. Understanding of enterprise-level computing platforms involving virtualization, distribution and high availability. Possess VCP or VCAP certification in VMware (DCV preferred).
Salary and Benefits
Primary Level Salary Range: $85,000.00 - $127,400.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $104,800.00 - $157,200.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as scope and responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions and company results. Long-Term Incentives may be available for VP or Director roles. Northrop Grumman provides benefits including health insurance, life and disability insurance, a savings plan, company-paid holidays, and paid time off for vacation/personal business.
