ANNUAL GIVING MANAGER – SAINT XAVIER HIGH SCHOOL Founded in 1864, Saint Xavier High School is a Catholic college preparatory school sponsored by the Xaverian Brothers and serving boys in grades 9-12. In addition to academic excellence, St. X has established itself as an athletic powerhouse in the region. Our 54-acre campus is located in the heart of Louisville. Saint Xavier High School is searching for an Annual Giving Manager to drive donor engagement, manage fundraising campaigns, and cultivate supporter relationships to sustain and grow our annual fundraising efforts and organizational impact.

Summary

The Annual Giving Manager reports to the Executive Director of Institutional Advancement and is responsible for managing all aspects of the Saint Xavier Fund. As a member of the Institutional Advancement team, the Annual Giving Manager works collaboratively with team members to drive fundraising strategy, enhance donor engagement, manage volunteers, and coordinate communications that promote and strengthen the culture of philanthropy across alumni, families, faculty, staff, students, and friends.

Duties & Responsibilities

Work in partnership with the Executive Director to meet the school's annual giving goals, with a clear focus on successful fundraising, participation, engagement, and overall program growth. Coordinate and implement a comprehensive, multi-channel annual fundraising strategy, including direct mail, digital, phone outreach, peer-to-peer solicitations, and donor communications and cultivation to support the Saint Xavier Fund. Oversee the eXtreme Madness alumni giving campaign, parent campaign, and other giving initiatives, providing volunteers with clear messaging, materials, and direction. Recruit, train, and manage class agents, reunion chairs, parent volunteers, and phonathon callers to lead peer-to-peer outreach and strengthen participation in annual giving. Plan and execute 1864 Minutes of Giving, the school's annual giving day, along with the senior class campaign and other special annual giving initiatives. Serve as a liaison for young alumni classes to support strategic initiatives, engagement, and fundraising goals. Manage a portfolio of 25-50 donors, focusing on leadership-level annual gifts ($1,000-$5,000) through personalized outreach and face-to-face meetings. Cultivate relationships with annual donors through personalized outreach and stewardship, fostering sustained commitment and deepening support. Manage the St. Francis Xavier Society, ensuring recognition and stewardship of leadership-level donors. Provide regular progress reports on Annual Fund performance, donor participation, and projections. Coordinate with the Director of Advancement Services to ensure timely and thoughtful donor acknowledgement and stewardship. Coordinate the production of the Annual Donor Report, ensuring accuracy, recognition, and donor satisfaction. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

3-5 years of fundraising experience preferred. Demonstrated success in fundraising project management and volunteer management. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to think critically and communicate creatively and professionally with a wide range of constituents. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines with a positive attitude, ensuring exceptional customer service. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Raiser’s Edge and NXT, Alamabase, and ThankView, or similar systems. Technically proficient.
