Responsible for leading JMT’s high-dollar, complex projects to ensure high-quality delivery in terms of scope, schedule, and budget. The Senior Project Manager will initiate the project lifecycle by identifying leads and marketing efforts in targeted growth areas. The role includes providing leadership, mentorship, and ensuring projects align with JMT’s organizational goals. Essential Functions And Responsibilities
Manage projects in accordance with scope, schedule, and budget. Collaborate with disciplines and subconsultants to develop a risk-adverse project scope and fee. Develop project-specific project plans and quality management plans. Create and maintain project schedules. Manage subconsultants. Monitor and execute project progress, identify and mitigate risks, develop extra work order requests, and open-end contract task proposals. Communicate project status, updates, and issues to internal and external stakeholders. Participate in the office’s project financial status meetings. Build relationships with clients to understand preferences and requirements to set up and execute a quality project. Prepare progress reports and review invoices. Develop and lead project status updates and presentations. Assist Section Heads, Office Leaders, and Practice Leaders with the marketing process including SMART Go/No-Go decisions, proposal development, interviews, and developing a win strategy. Collaborate with Section Head and Office Leader on identifying leads and opportunities based on strategic goals. Assist Section Head and Office Leader with developing strategic goals based on client program information. Develop and maintain a strong network of clients and other industry stakeholders. Coordinate and guide all technical resources within the project team to ensure delivery of a high-quality outcome. Leverage advanced knowledge and experience with the client and project type to analyze the project, anticipate risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Implement strategies for project tracking and reporting using project performance metrics to foresee and mitigate issues. Provide coaching and mentorship to the project team through one-on-one check-ins and project debriefs to acknowledge achievements, identify improvement areas, and share lessons learned. Lead and manage team members with leadership and ongoing performance management that supports growth and development. Nonessential Functions And Responsibilities

Proficient in Microsoft Office. Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program. Professional Engineer License. 15+ years’ experience in Water/Wastewater project design and management. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong communication skills. Strong presentation skills. Preferred Experience
CAPM or PMP. Experience working with local clients at the county and state level. Project management and business development experience. Experience with multiple project delivery methods (Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, P3). Experience managing multidiscipline project teams. Working Conditions
Work is performed in a general office environment 95% of the time, generally sedentary, with occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate; no hazardous conditions. Field work is required occasionally, including exposure to heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Some lifting up to 25 lbs may be required.
