French & Parrello Associates is seeking a
Project Engineer - Structural
for our Structural Department in Wall, NJ. Responsibilities
Lead structural analysis and design for building projects using steel, concrete, masonry, and timber materials. Oversee preparation of design drawings, calculations, and technical specifications. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines throughout the project lifecycle. Manage project schedules, budgets, and coordination tasks to ensure successful delivery. Review work performed by junior engineers and provide technical mentorship and quality oversight. Perform advanced modeling and analysis using software such as ETABS, RAM, RISA, or SAP2000. Conduct field observations and site inspections, and prepare detailed engineering reports. Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI, etc.). Contribute to internal process improvements and support business development initiatives as needed. Qualifications
Master’s degree in Structural Engineering (preferred) or Civil Engineering with a structural concentration. 5–8 years of professional experience in structural building design. Professional Engineer (PE) license required or the ability to obtain within six months. Strong proficiency in structural analysis and design software (ETABS, SAP2000, RAM, or equivalent). Experience with Revit and/or AutoCAD for structural documentation. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Thorough understanding of building codes, materials, and construction practices. Compensation
The projected compensation range for this position is
$89,000
to
$115,000
per year. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, education, and skill set. Benefits
