Morgan & Morgan is looking for a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our very successful plaintiff’s personal injury practice in beautiful Fort Myers, FL.
The Litigation Attorney will handle motor vehicle liability (MVA)/automobile accident cases, including trial preparation, depositions, complicated settlements, and in‑court jury and bench trials, representing plaintiff clients in FL.
Each litigator receives a dedicated paralegal and legal assistant, and support from a separate team of pre‑suit attorneys and case managers.
Our law firm offers a generous and competitive compensation package that includes a base salary, guaranteed commission, and uncapped bonus potential, along with a full benefits package and excellent insurance for employees, spouses, and dependents.
Responsibilities
Day‑to‑day handling of motor vehicle accident cases.
Drafting and filing litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests, responses, demands, motions, and memoranda of law.
Guiding plaintiff clients through the case process.
Interacting with expert witnesses, including conferences, drafting expert reports, and affidavits.
Attending and preparing for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances on behalf of plaintiffs.
Qualifications
Law degree (J.D./JD/Juris Doctor) from a fully ABA‑accredited law school.
Bilingual Spanish speaker preferred.
Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
Ideally 3+ years of PI litigation experience, including jury trial.
Ability to manage a high volume of litigation cases and take them to trial.
Excellent client service and communication skills.
Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.
