About the Position The Network Facilitator primarily supports SEI’s peer learning networks (PLNs) while also overseeing the Summit County Parent Coalition and Summit County Student Coalition. This role convenes 1–2 PLNs that address cradle-to-career indicators such as chronic absenteeism, early intervention, or student supports, ensuring that practitioners and partners can share practices and move from conversation to action. In addition, the Network Facilitator guides the Parent and Student Coalitions, creating structured processes that elevate family and youth voice in community leadership. A key focus of the role is uplifting and amplifying student voice across Summit County, ensuring that young people’s perspectives are not only included but drive meaningful systems change. Working alongside SEI’s Research and Data team, the Network Facilitator ensures that networks and coalitions use evidence to inspire dialogue and drive measurable improvements. The role also helps lead SEI’s 16 for Success county-wide initiative, providing families and educators with resources that promote kindergarten readiness and student success.
Responsibilities and Duties
Convene and facilitate 1–2 peer learning networks (PLNs) focused on improving cradle-to-career outcomes (e.g., chronic absenteeism, early intervention, student supports).
Support the Summit County Parent Coalition, guiding parents through a structured process to elevate their leadership and influence in decision-making.
Support the Summit County Student Coalition, coordinating with partners, managing logistics, and amplifying student perspectives in planning and action.
Uplift and amplify student voice in the community, ensuring young people’s perspectives are heard and influence broader educational and community solutions.
Guide networks and coalitions through continuous improvement processes that identify challenges, test solutions, and scale effective practices.
Collaborate with SEI’s Research and Data team to translate insights into strategies and action steps.
Use research and data storytelling to inspire dialogue, inform decision-making, and keep equity at the center of strategies.
Implement and expand SEI’s 16 for Success county-wide initiative, including the distribution and use of tip cards and book lists.
Track engagement, monitor partner progress, and evaluate the collective impact of PLNs and coalitions.
Assist in planning and executing county-wide convenings and events that highlight collaboration, outcomes, and impact.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Community Engagement, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in facilitation, peer learning, coalition building, or community engagement.
Strong program planning and coordination skills, with proven ability to design and deliver initiatives.
Experience in event planning, from logistics to execution.
Demonstrated ability to plan and manage projects that move from concept to completion.
Strong facilitation skills with the ability to move diverse groups from discussion to action.
Experience engaging parents, families, and youth in meaningful leadership opportunities.
Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to use data to tell compelling stories and inform strategy.
Knowledge of or experience in key issue areas such as chronic absenteeism, early intervention, higher education, or student support systems is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits This is a
salaried, full-time position (40 hours/week)
with a base compensation of
$60,000 annually , commensurate with experience. SEI is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
