QA Manager
to ensure product safety, regulatory and customer compliance, audit success, and continuous improvement across production and packaging operations. Responsibilities
Manage HACCP, food safety plans, environmental monitoring, and finished product testing. Ensure readiness for certifications (SQF or equivalent) and lead customer and regulatory audits. Supervise QA and QC teams, maintain accurate SOPs, documentation, and provide team training. Investigate deviations, perform root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and verify effectiveness. Work with Operations and R&D to reduce defects and improve process performance. Track quality metrics including first-pass quality, product holds, customer complaints, and audit findings. Qualifications
5+ years of quality leadership experience in food or pet food manufacturing. HACCP certified with strong knowledge of FDA/USDA regulations and GFSI standards. SQF Practitioner or equivalent certification preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, and coaching skills. Seniority level
