Document external data acquisition policies and procedures and interface with other business units to define and document data needs and ad-hoc analysis requirements. Identify business practice workflow and process issues and concerns; provide leadership to define system and process requirements to optimize system performance and technology utilization by system users. Design information systems and technologies that ensure access and transparency. Develop, implement, organize, and maintain information and reports to document operational and financial performance. Collaborate with quality teams to design ad hoc and routine reports; monitor and improve quality programs. Compile data from multiple sources and import into the relevant database; select tools and methods to maintain existing programs and ensure proper data transfer; document reports to increase efficiency. Assist with analysis of external data definitions documentation and mapping; perform a Quality Assurance function for data integration processes and repository metrics. Collaborate with staff to document data needs and metric definitions; validate data load processes and data quality in repositories. Coordinate with LAN and IT Security teams to utilize PGP encryption and File Transfer Protocols. Use software such as SAS, Access, and Excel to provide data mapping for integration using Business Objects and SQL. Qualifications
Basic statistical concepts; ability to identify trends and business opportunities. Understanding of commonly used demographics and databases; knowledge of field definitions and data entry/processing. Data mining/intelligence; statistically valid analysis and measurement methodologies. Packaging data into infographics and other display techniques; report design options; data interpretation and validation. Ad hoc analysis and performance evaluation principles; familiarity with common demographic databases. SQL coding and report services; data warehouse design; web-based application design. Experience
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in processing, management, and retrieval of information. Experience with Salesforce (preferred) for applications, enterprise architecture, CRM process design and implementations, building standard/custom reports and dashboards; experience with ETL tools. Skills
PC skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAS, Access). Ability to work independently and lead in creating process documentation; strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks; problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Education
