Bright Minds’ industry leading component manufacturing client is hiring a Quality Engineer to ensure products meet strict performance, reliability, and compliance standards throughout all stages of design and production. In this role, you’ll monitor, test, and inspect components and systems to verify they meet specifications and function as intended. You’ll perform audits, analyze inspection data, and lead root-cause investigations to identify process improvements and corrective actions. Collaborating closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams, you’ll play a key role in maintaining compliance with AS9100, AS9102, and ISO 9001 standards while driving continuous improvement in product quality and performance. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and analytical engineering professional with 3–5 years of experience in aerospace quality assurance, strong knowledge of quality systems and regulatory standards, and the ability to apply data-driven problem-solving techniques. Base pay range
$90,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr Salary: $90,000 - $125,000 + Excellent Benefits + PTO Responsibilities
Conduct detailed product inspections and performance tests to verify compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards. Utilizes precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and electronic testing equipment. Support the design, development, and implementation of inspection and testing procedures throughout all stages of product development and manufacturing. Execute structured and random testing methods to validate product functionality and reliability under real-world conditions. Perform internal process audits and apply statistical analysis to evaluate quality trends, identify root causes, and recommend corrective or preventive actions. Review and updates work instructions, inspection forms, and quality documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement. Interpret and review CMM and FARO reports, providing input to engineering and production teams to maintain dimensional accuracy and process integrity. Requirements
Strong understanding of quality engineering principles, regulatory standards, and aerospace requirements (AS9100, AS9102, ISO 900). Proven ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions. Skilled in data collection, report preparation, and communicating technical information clearly to diverse audiences. Demonstrated customer focus with the ability to interpret business needs and recommend process or product improvements. Excellent organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills in fast-paced, detail-driven environments. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) and database management tools. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is preferred. How to apply
