Facilities Building Manager – Cherokee Federal
This position requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance to be considered.
Overview
The Facility Manager coordinates all building maintenance and repairs with building representatives and oversees workspaces, conference and break rooms, electrical and HVAC systems. Responsibilities include general maintenance and repair across trades such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work. Responsibilities
Coordinate work schedules and maintenance repairs for existing space. Maintain staff rosters as personnel rotate into temporary workspaces. Coordinate with government management on government property and space planning. Monitor and implement security policies as defined by Division Management. Attend project meetings and assist with planning, design phases, and space requirements. Assist with SCIF installation and renovation project oversight. Maintain emergency action plans in coordination with government management. Report security incidents and coordinate vendor repairs after hours as needed. Monitor Building Automation System (BAS) functions and facility temperatures/HVAC. Perform minor furniture repairs and signage installation; manage CAFM tickets and requests. Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and proper use of safety equipment. Provide support in training maintenance staff and improving performance where needed. Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities
At least five (5) years of experience managing project control or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven ability to identify complex program requirements and provide actionable recommendations. Experience presenting reports to senior management officials. Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, and precedents. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Deltek or similar business software. Analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage resources, people, and projects. US citizen; must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal; Secret clearance required. Effective communication and organizational skills; ability to convey complex ideas to senior leadership; ability to train others on core requirements. Compensation & Benefits
