Job Description As a Advanced Manufacturing Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize production processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Tempe, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule. Note: New Hires will report M-F for the first 90 days. New Product Introduction (NPI) is Honeywell’s organizational link between Integrated Supply Chain and the product development functions of Engineering, Program Management, and the Strategic Business Units. AME participates in the execution of new product development programs to ensure product cost, capability, and producibility targets are achieved. This role will be heavily responsible for First Article Inspections (FAIR) and coordinating quality notifications with the ISC NPI and AME Production Teams. The ability to read drawings and inspect hardware builds will enable success in this position. Review engineering drawings and bubble for inspection of hardware Review certifications for incoming material for FAIR submission Populate FAIR paperwork and submit Input inspection data into FAIR submission Review Process Map, PFMEA, Control Plan, Measurement Systems Analysis, and Process Capability Studies for FAIR Benefits

YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics. Proven experience in advanced manufacturing, process optimization, and lean manufacturing principles. Strong knowledge of manufacturing technologies, such as automation, robotics, and additive manufacturing. Experience with data analysis and statistical process control. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. WE VALUE Product knowledge in valves, pumps, actuators, and environmental control systems Ability to read engineering mechanical drawings and assess for manufacturing capability Excellent computer skills with advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and MS Project Position requires manufacturing and supplier factory floor exposure requiring safety shoes and glasses Excellent communication skills including oral, written and presentation Green Belt, DFSS, Black Belt, Lean, or HOS certification. Demonstrated ability in using six sigma tools Experience with DFMEA/PFMEA/MSA and other APQP elements Knowledge of SAP, Teamcenter, and other data system applications About Honeywell
