A growing, innovation-driven manufacturing company is seeking a

Quality Assurance Engineer

for its

location. This is a key role in driving quality excellence, ensuring ISO 9001:2015 compliance, and leading cross-functional improvements in a complex production environment.

Overview What You’ll Own and Expectation:

What You’ll Own

Lead Quality Systems : Own and maintain the site’s quality management system, ensuring full

ISO 9001:2015

compliance, audit readiness, and continuous improvement.

Drive Product Excellence : Manage inspections, nonconforming product processes, customer returns, and supplier quality to maintain and enhance overall product quality.

Collaborate Cross-Functionally : Work closely with operations, engineering, and R&D teams to support New Product Introductions (NPIs), troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize quality processes.

Data-Driven Decision Making : Analyze quality and production metrics to uncover trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.

Customer-Centric Mindset : Lead investigations into customer complaints and product returns to deliver timely, effective solutions.

Must-Haves

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or equivalent practical experience)

5+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance role within manufacturing

Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 systems and standards

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Preferred Extras

Familiarity with polymer manufacturing processes or material science

Experience with continuous improvement tools (Six Sigma, Lean, Shainin Red X)

Working knowledge of SPC, measurement system analysis, and root cause methodologies

Thrive on solving problems at the root, not just the surface

Enjoy analyzing trends and applying data to drive improvements

Are mechanically inclined and comfortable in a production environment

Prioritize efficiently and stay calm under pressure

Communicate clearly across departments and with customers

Location : Houston, TX (on-site required)
