— Responsible for assisting the head swim coach in implementing and directing all phases of a competitive NCAA Division II swim program at Nova Southeastern University. This includes recruiting quality student‑athletes, organizing and planning practices, monitoring academics, scouting, coaching, scheduling, and planning team travel in compliance with University, Conference and NCAA rules and regulations.
Essential Job Functions
Administer practices as given by the head coach
Assist in recruiting weekends
Assist in team travel
Disseminate information as it relates to program direction
Enter swimming data
Do research online for pertinent swimming related information
Create and maintain spreadsheets
Attendance at practice and competitions
Assist in recruiting
Job Requirements
Oral and written communication skills
Detail oriented
Able to multi-task
Effectively prioritize work in fast paced environment
Available to work early mornings and weekends
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Understand and comply with NCAA Division II, Conference and University rules and regulations.
Required Certifications/Licensures Must be able to provide valid CPR certification.
Required Education Major (if required):
Required Experience High school or club coaching or collegiate swim experience
Preferred Qualifications Is this a safety sensitive position? Yes
