Overview: We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented
Industrial Production Operator
to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for safely operating production equipment, monitoring processes, and ensuring that products meet quality and production standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate, monitor, and adjust production machinery and equipment to maintain efficient manufacturing operations.
Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper function and report any issues or malfunctions to maintenance or supervision.
Follow established production schedules and maintain accurate records of production, downtime, and materials used.
Conduct in-process quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
Adhere to all company safety, quality, and housekeeping policies.
Assist with equipment changeovers, setups, and basic maintenance as needed.
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet or exceed production targets.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required; technical or trade school experience .
1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret work instructions, production schedules, and quality specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work overtime or alternate shifts as needed.
