Proposal Specialist 2

will be responsible for coordinating and developing high-quality proposals in response to requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for information (RFIs), and other bid requests. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather content, ensure compliance with client requirements, and deliver compelling, client-focused proposals that align with business strategy. THIS IS A REMOTE ROLE WITHIN THE US. What You Will Do

Analyses client request packages, including RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, to identify and define key requirements, deliverables, evaluation criteria, and deadlines. Manages the full lifecycle of proposals – from kickoff to submission – ensuring compliance with RFP/RFI/RFQ requirements. Writes, edits, and tailors proposal content to align with client specifications, branding, and voice. Drafts proposal content, which may involve tailoring existing materials to fit the opportunity or assisting in the drafting of new content to ensure clarity, conciseness, and alignment with client needs while effectively conveying Veranex’s value proposition. Works closely with operations, finance, business development, and legal to gather and validate proposal inputs. Contributes to the development of win themes, value propositions, and proposal strategies. Conducts internal reviews, ensures content is accurate and compliant, and performs quality checks before submission. Maintains and updates proposal content libraries, templates, and boilerplate materials. Analyzes proposal outcomes to identify areas for improvement in content, process, or presentation. Organizes internal reviews and makes revisions based on feedback. Stays current with industry trends and best practices in proposal development and writing to enhance proposal quality and competitiveness. Identifies and implements process improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the proposal team. Trains new and less experienced team members as needed. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Accounting or Finance and 2-4 years of experience for B2B contracts/proposals. Strong understanding of CRO industry; experience in the medical device industry preferred. Good understanding of sales lifecycle, capture planning, and competitive positioning. Strong understanding of proposal structure, compliance, and RFP response strategy. Strong proficiency in productivity applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and proficiency in proposal management or document collaboration tools. Good understanding of customer relationship management (CRM) and project management tools. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with team members, stakeholders, and management. Strong written and verbal communication skills with sharp attention to detail, especially in document formatting, grammar, and consistency. Advanced writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
