This role will directly supervise the Import Analyst on all logistics aspects and work closely with finance and warehousing teams to support daily inventory, inbound/outbound logistics, and customer service. The position supports the full supply chain process to source with integrity, drive financial results, and build effective systems for Ambrosi Food USA to continue to grow. Responsibilities
This role will have one direct report that must be coached and developed. In addition to the Demand Planning and Warehouse Relations responsibilities, this manager role will supervise the Importation of Goods/Licensing, Logistics, Order Processing and Customer Service. Own the forecast process in the U.S., working with Field Sales, Warehouse/Inventory Manager and Finance to provide visibility into demand needs to secure production and inventory to satisfy customer needs and lead times. Coordinate ordering product from Italy and communicate with the Italian parent company to ensure production timing is acceptable; ensure finished goods arrive in the U.S. on time and manage two-way communication for order adjustments. Act as the point of contact to manage a third-party warehouse, communicate order specifications, delivery dates, handling requirements and scheduling. Lead the business unit by supervising Inventory Management and working cross-functionally with Sales, Finance and Customer Service teams to achieve inventory targets, product availability, warehouse rotation (FIFO) and reconciliation. Own invoicing with customers to ensure proper billing, accurate shipments and timely receipt of payment as part of business results. Demonstrate commitment to a safe working environment that promotes health and well-being of all employees and contributes to overall performance. Education
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 3+ years of experience required. Consumer packaged goods industry experience or related field. Experience
Proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Proficient in database management, analytics and ERP platforms. Business math (e.g. Margin, P&L, Growth vs YAGO). Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Excellent teamwork and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. ERP experience is a plus. Language skills: Spanish and/or Italian a plus. Certifications and knowledge
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint). Proficient in database management, analytics and ERP platforms. Business math competencies and strong organizational skills. Excellent teamwork and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. ERP experience is a plus. Language skills: Spanish and/or Italian a plus.
