Atlantis Charter School . We are looking for an Assistant Wrestling Coach to join our team for the 25/26 Season. The total stipend for this position is $3,000 which is paid at the completion of the season. Responsibilities

The After School Athletics Coach is responsible for facilitating and coordinating activities related to the assigned athletic sport, coaching, managing and enforcing safety protocols for students, and supervision and evaluation of all students within their assignment. Reports to the Athletic Director or their designee. Maintain and enforce safety standards and medical compliance; ensure adherence to league rules and school policies. Attend regular coach meetings, coordinate practice schedules and locations, and communicate with students, families, and school staff as needed. Model positive behavior, set appropriate boundaries, and support student participation in the athletics program. Instruct students in the proper use of equipment and prepare equipment for practices and games. Maintain records of student attendance, game statistics, and equipment and uniform assignments and returns. Assist in planning and, if needed, attending awards ceremonies for students at the end of the school year. Maintain professional appearance and ACS branded attire on game days. Qualifications

Previous experience coaching in a similar sport strongly preferred. Experience in teaching and coaching techniques appropriate to the sport assigned preferred. Ability to acquire First Aid, CPR, AED and Concussion training certifications. Ability to acquire training as required by the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA). Possession of valid Driver's License, if transporting students. Availability to attend activities, practices, games, and meetings outside of school hours as necessary. Dependability and reliability. Strong communication skills, both written and spoken. Ability to relate well to others. Roles and Responsibilities

Maintains current First-Aid, CPR, and Concussion training, if required by the particular sport, or based on availability of coaches at the activity site. Keeps up to date with any necessary training for assigned sport. Attends regular coach meetings organized by the Athletic Director to discuss topics such as student eligibility, practice schedules, documentation, equipment needs, and general concerns. Creates an environment where students are supported and encouraged to participate in the athletics program. Adheres to practice schedules, student practice rules and medical compliance as required by the league. Upholds and enforces standards and rules of the athletic program, especially safety rules and standards. Sets appropriate boundaries for students based on school rules. Models positive behavior and fair play. Instructs students in the proper use of equipment and sets up equipment for practice and games as necessary. Notifies Athletic Director or Game Day Assistant of any equipment misuse or replacement needs. Trains students in basic skills necessary for the assigned sport. Works with staff volunteers as needed. Works with students and Athletic Director to ensure all documentation is submitted by deadlines. Assists in planning and executing awards ceremonies for students at the end of the school year as needed. Maintains professional appearance, including ACS branded attire on game days. Attends meetings related to the Athletics Program, including Conference/League Pre-season, Post Season, and All-Star meetings. Keeps Athletic Director and Game Day Assistant informed about games, practices, and any issues related to the assigned sport. Maintains records of student athlete attendance for practices and games, varsity game statistics for end-of-season reports, and equipment and uniform assignments and returns. Additional Requirements

Stipend as negotiated per agreement. Work Environment

Ability to run, walk, sit and stand for long periods. May be outside during inclement weather for practices and games. Travel to and from games, practices and meetings required. Seniority level
