Job Description This position is accountable for the provision of patient care and other activities as permitted by licensure and defined within Credentialing and Privileging documentation (hospital), Credentialing and Scope of Practice (Medical Group), Consultation and Referral Plan (DOPL) or other similar documentation as appropriate. As part of that patient care, this position is accountable to: deliver optimal patient care through effective clinical practice; education of the patient, patient's family, clinical staff, and others; consultation with other healthcare providers; and maintain current knowledge regarding options for optimal patient care and outcomes.
Role and Coverage PRN - Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Denver and surrounding areas
Intermountain Health is currently looking for an experienced Oncology Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to help cover vacations, unexpected illnesses, and leaves of absence.
Clinic hours are Mon-Fri, 8am - 5pm
Seeing 10-14 patients per day and supervise the infusion center at one of our care sites.
This position provides as-needed coverage across all five Intermountain Health Cancer Centers in the Denver area. While the primary location is Sloan's Lake Infusion Center, coverage may also be required at Platte Valley Medical Center, Good Samaritan Medical Center, St. Joseph’s Hospital, and Lutheran Hospital.
Qualifications
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant from an accredited program
Licensed in the State of Colorado as an NP or PA
BLS and DEA and in state of work
Minimum of 2 years as an NP or PA in an oncology setting
Physical Requirements Location: Cancer Centers of Colorado

Compensation The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$56.76 - $87.59
