Overview
Financial Solutions Advisor - Southern Virginia Market at Bank of America. This role provides comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients to help them achieve their financial goals. Responsibilities include triaging client leads, referring to business partners based on client needs and asset thresholds, meeting with clients to review financial and investment goals, building a financial plan, and recommending brokerage products. The position requires completing required licenses and trainings and is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Responsibilities
Works with clients to plan short- and long-term financial goals by building a financial plan with brokerage products, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking and money management solutions Recommends banking and investment strategies that align with client goals Triages client requests and makes referrals to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds Mitigates and controls risk as part of daily activities Identifies and engages potential new clients through referrals or existing client base Provides coaching and feedback to referral partners based on client needs and potential product services Schedule
Monday – Friday, with rotating Saturdays Required Qualifications
Currently holds Series 7 & 66 licenses (63 & 65 in lieu of 66). If you do not hold 66 but have 63 or 65, an offer can be extended with the condition that a passing score is received for the missing series within 60 days. At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and knowledge of investment products and services At least one year of experience in the financial services industry and/or a sales environment with goals met or exceeded Ability to set and accomplish goals, build and nurture relationships, and collaborate effectively with others Effective communication and confident engagement with clients Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment Willingness to learn, adapt to new information, and seek appropriate solutions for clients Efficient time and capacity management Ability to incorporate regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term client strategies Desired Qualifications
Strong computer skills and ability to multitask in a demanding environment Three or more years of experience in the financial services industry and/or a sales environment with goals met or exceeded Professional designations such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and/or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) Insurance licenses Minimum Education Requirement
High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent Skills
