Overview
EP Senior Mapping Specialist - Nashville, TN at Boston Scientific. This field-based role supports electrophysiology (EP) mapping and related technologies, including 3D mapping and navigation systems, diagnostic and therapeutic catheters, EP recording systems, and related tools. The position includes a training program to gain in-depth knowledge of technologies and to provide clinical, technical, and educational support to physicians, EP Lab staff, and sales representatives during cardiac procedures using the Opal HDx mapping system within a defined territory. Responsibilities
Maintain advanced clinical knowledge of EP diagnostic and ablation technologies, mapping and recording systems, transeptal access tools, and related occlusion technologies. Attend procedures in cardiac CV/EP labs to provide clinical support for AF Solutions products, including the Opal HDx mapping system, FARAPULSE, transeptal tools, diagnostic and therapeutic catheters, and WATCHMAN FLX devices. Educate customers on clinical usage and benefits of AF Solutions products through presentations, demonstrations, and ongoing training. Meet with physicians and clinical stakeholders to assess needs and demonstrate how Boston Scientific products support patient outcomes. Develop relationships with hospital staff, physicians, and administrators to expand influence and facilitate strategic decision-making. Respond to clinical and technical inquiries by collaborating with sales, clinical research, marketing, and technical support. Demonstrate change leadership and collaborate cross-functionally to align local activities with broader strategic goals. Implement strategies from quarterly action plans and coordinate with sales teams to advance business objectives. Support physician education and market development by engaging referring physicians, fellows, and key opinion leaders. Train on and adhere to clinical trial protocols and compliance standards in line with global regulatory expectations. Manage clinical trial activity within the territory, including site visits and investigator education on study procedures and products. Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 4 years of experience with 3D cardiac mapping systems or minimum of 8 years in medical device sales, clinical electrophysiology, or equivalent education and experience. Demonstrated technical aptitude and ability to discuss and explain complex technical product information. Preferred Qualifications
NASPE/IBHRE CEPS certification. Work experience in Atrial Fibrillation/Cardiac Mapping/Structural Heart procedures. Existing usage of 3D cardiac mapping systems. MS or advanced degree in business or healthcare. Compensation
The anticipated annual base amount or range for this full-time position will be $70,000.00 to $105,000.00, plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan and benefits. Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience, education, licensure, and other needs. Additional Information
